Product Description

I. General

KYN61-40.5 type armored movable AC metal-enclosed switchgear is a complete indoor distribution unit with three-phase AC at 50 Hz and a rated voltage of 40.5 kV. It is used for receiving and distributing electric energy in power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises, with the features of controlling, protecting and monitoring the circuits. The cabinet body is made of high-quality aluminum-coated zinc plates after bending, which improves the matching accuracy between the handcart and the cabinet. The handcart is very lightweight for easy access and has strong interchangeability.

The products comply with GB3906 Alternating-Current Metal-Enclosed Switchgear for Rated Voltages of 3-35 kV, GB/T 11022 Common Specifications for High-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Standards, and so on.

II. Structure Description

This product is divided into two main parts: cabinet and handcart. The cabinet body is made of aluminum zinc coated plates after bending and assembled with bolts. It can be divided into four parts by functional characteristics: relay instrument room, breaker room, cable room, and busbar room. Each part is separated by a grounded metal separator and equipped with independent pressure release channels. The protection degree of the enclosure is IP4X. When the breaker room door is open and the breaker handcart is in the off/test position, the ingress protection is IP2X.

The switchgear has main circuit schemes such as cable incoming and outgoing lines, overhead incoming and outgoing lines, inter-bus, disconnector, voltage transformer, and lightning arrester. The product adopts composite insulation. The main busbar is a sectionalized type, separated from adjacent cabinets by bus bushings, which can effectively prevent the spread of accidents, and at the same time play an auxiliary support role for the bead main busbar. The cable room is equipped with current transformers, earthing switches, etc., and the spacious conditions facilitate the connection of multiple cables.

There is a metal valve installed in front of the contact box. The upper and lower valves open automatically when the handcart moves from the off/test position to the working position, and close automatically when the handcart moves in the opposite direction forming an effective isolation. The interlocking among the main switch, handcart, earthing switch, and cabinet door adopts the mandatory mechanical locking mode, which satisfies the functional requirements of “five-prevention” and can be operated when the cabinet door is closed.

The handcart frame is provided with a screw-nut propulsion mechanism and an overrunning clutch. The screw-nut propelling mechanism can be easily operated to move the handcart between the off/test position and the working position, and the handcart can be reliably locked at the working position by the self-locking property of the screw or nut, to prevent accidents caused by handcart movement under the action of electrodynamic force. The overrunning clutch works when the handcart moves back to the off/test position and moves to the working position so that the operating shaft and the screw shaft are automatically separated and idle, which can prevent the propulsion mechanism from being damaged by misoperation.
