Product Description

I. Purpose

The GGD type AC low-voltage power distribution cabinet applies to the power distribution system with a three-phase AC frequency of 50 Hz, and it is used for the conversion, distribution, and control of power, illumination, and power distribution equipment in the distribution system with a rated working voltage of 400 V (690 V) and a rated current of up to 6,300 A. It is widely used in power plants, substations, factories and mining enterprises, and other power consumers.

The GGD type AC low-voltage power distribution cabinet is a new type of low-voltage distribution cabinet that is designed on the basis of the principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. The product has the characteristics of high breaking ability, good dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical scheme, convenient combination, and strong practicability. It can be used as an upgraded product of low-level switchgear units.

The product criteria and technical requirements shall comply with GB/T 7251.1, GB/T 7251.12, and other relevant standards.

II. Structural Features

1. The cabinet of the GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet adopts the form of a general-purpose cabinet, and the frame is assembled with 8MF cold-formed steel partially welded.

2. The components of the universal cabinet are designed using the modular design principle and have mounting holes for 20 modules, resulting in a higher universal coefficient. It can make the factory achieve pre-production, which not only shortens the production cycle but also improves work efficiency.

3. The cooling during the cabinet operation shall be fully considered in the design phase. The upper and lower ends of the cabinet body are provided with different numbers of cooling slotted holes. When the electrical components in the cabinet are emitting heat, the increased heat will be discharged through the slot hole at the upper end, and the cold air is continuously fed into the cabinet from the slot hole at the lower end, so that the sealed cabinet body forms a natural ventilation channel from bottom to top, thereby achieving the cooling effect.

According to the requirements of modern industrial product modeling and design, the cabinet body adopts the method of golden section ratio to design the cabinet body outline and the division size of each part, which makes the entire cabinet attractive and elegant.

5. The cabinet door is connected with a rotating shaft-type living hinge, enabling easy and convenient installation and removal. The door edge-fold is embedded with an epsilon-type strip, which has a certain compression stroke between the door and the frame when closing the door, thereby preventing the door from directly colliding with the cabinet body and also improving the degree of protection of the frame.

6. The instrument door equipped with electrical components is connected to the frame with multi-strand soft copper wires. The installation parts in the cabinet are connected to the frame with knurled screws to create a complete earthing protection circuit.

7. The surface of the cabinet adopts electrostatic spraying, which features strong adhesion and good texture. The entire cabinet is presented in matte color, which avoids the dazzling and creates a more comfortable visual environment for the staff on duty.

8. The top cover of the cabinet body can be removed as required to facilitate the assembly and adjustment of the main busbar on site. The four corners of the cabinet top are equipped with lifting eyes for hoisting and shipping.

9. The electrical components with better performance and cutting-edge technology shall be selected according to the needs of consumers. It will not cause difficulties in manufacturing and use due to the renewal of electrical components because of the better installation flexibility of GGD cabinets.
